I just bought the black version of this jacket after having bought the green one (which i love!. This is the perfect jacket for most seasons...warm, thick but not too heavy to wear during all year in CA. Love this jacket, don't get me wrong. It looks awesome and it is very warm.My only concern is with the fit.I ordered a Large. I am 5'9 170LBS. I do not have a jelly belly but I also do not have a 6 pack.My problem with the jacket is that it is a little bulky in the belly area, it would be nice if it were a bit slimmer. However, it is a Dutton jacket so it is not supposed to be slim. My only other criticism would be the collar, it has a zipper that contours the outter length, it is a little ugly.Other than that, I love the jacket and people are always trying to steal it from me.

Update: I just received the XL, surprise surprise, it fits pretty perfectly. The one thing is that the body part of the jacket is a little too roomy. I think thats why everyone is saying to size down. Id rather have sleeves that dont make me look ridiculous, personally. I can always get it tailored - I just received this jacket today. I usually wear an XL and sized down based on reviews. It's true that the body is still pretty roomy, but it gets a little too tight when I'm wearing a Carhartt hoodie underneath. Most hoodies aren't that thick though, so meh.Thing is, the sleeves are too short. By about an inch or two. It's only really noticeable when my arms are stretched out in front of me. A ridiculous amount of my arms get exposed. When wearing a hoodie, no big deal, the hoodie sleeves will help hide this somewhat. But I do wish I got an XL instead. Obviously I ripped the tag off and can't return it, so I'll just try to enjoy it for what it is. My fault for ordering an L, anyway. Now I have to take one.

M fits perfectly for me. Though its summer here now but started wearing it when temps are little low. Can wear it in temp around 20C to 25C in summer. I've worn basically two types of coats my entire life. An Army Field jacket, or a sport coat. This style of jacket by FJackets's is absolutely awesome. Not only does it look great, it's made like a tough Army field jacket. It just looks better. A lot better. There are two button down flap pockets, and two hand pockets on the lower outside of the jacket. Also there is an interior pocket large enough for a Smart Phone, or wallet. The chest pockets are deep enough for those items too. I'm 6' tall, have a 43" chest, weight around 185-190, and the large fits me nicely. There is a lining in the jacket for colder days that does not come out. But truthfully you could wear this jacket pretty much anytime. Maybe not in the middle of summer though. The price of this comparing it to a regular Army field jacket can't be beat. Every review I read before purchasing this jacket remarked how good it looked. Well here's another person saying the same thing. This jacket is smoking. I'm a retired Army Infantry soldier and I'll take this over my military issue any day of the week. The sizing (L) for me was true to size. I ordered the Brown, which to me blends better with most other colors. In one of the pictures I put an Army Issued Field Shirt next to this jacket for comparison. If you want a rugged jacket that should last for years, whether you are in the boonies or just wearing it day to day because it looks good. Then I would definitely recommend you give this a try.
