    This is a great A2 jacket replica, hands down. The stitching is tight and neat, with no loose threads or errors. Some reviewers have said that they found the leather to be a little thin...I think the leather is fine, and will wear well. However, this jacket has no insulation, just a thin lining on the inside of the body and the sleeves. The cuffs and waist are heavy duty and seem like they will last and keep their stretch well. The leather will pick up its own character and highlights as I wear it. Others have noted the importance of closely following the seller's size chart...I originally ordered an M, and after checking the chart and asking the seller, I went down to an S. The S gave me the trim, military fit I was looking for (I'm 5' 8", 44 bare chest, 40-inch waist), especially after wearing it for a couple of days and giving the jacket a chance to break in and stretch a little (I wore it in the rain for a little bit and stretched my arms, back, chest to help loosen it up a little.) However, if you want to layer under this, you should probably go up one size.The jacket arrived via DHL within seven days (including a weekend). In all, I'm really pleased with this A2, which is a great value, and which definitely holds its own against jackets costing much more. I'm not a stickler for authenticity, I just wanted a nice jacket in the A2 style, and this jacket definitely delivers.

    This jacket is very close to an original military contract A2 I had. Military A2 jackets fit snug and my large fit just right. I am 6'4" and the sleeves had plenty of length. The liner is exactly the same as a military contract jacket I had from the 50s. the color of the leather is close to the original and has a slight orange-brown color. The cuffs are of great quality and thick and should not stretch and wear out. The jacket is a tad longer than the originals which the style of the 40s and 50s had tall pants and short jackets. this one fits just below the beltline. This jacket did not have the bad smell reported by other reviews. I will be ordering again from Five Star.

    Very nice jacket. Sleeves are a bit too tight, and just a bit too long (I wear a 34-35 sleeve on dress shirts).

    Well done for the money. The waist was a bit large, but easily repaired with a few darts in the waist band. The goat leather is going to take a little breaking in, but appears to be very good quality. All in all a very good replica at a great price.

    The jacket alone was a great quality for the price and looks great. I bought it to make a replica A2 looking painted bomber jacket and was a little nervous about drawing and painting on it since it was already such a nice product. But the finished item is amazing.
