Men’s Double-Breasted Long Paul Blue Wool Coat

I got this for my son for Christmas because he started his first office job and only owned a puffer. He is tall and thin and I was nervous about the fit, but the shoulders sit right and it isn't baggy. He sent me a photo from his commute the first week. Money well spent.

Bought this as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend, who wears a wool sweater basically every day from October onward. The coat goes over his chunky knits with room to spare. He keeps flipping the collar up when it gets windy and acting very pleased with himself. Fair enough, it looks great.

The lapels are the thing for me. They're wide and they sit nicely flat, but you can flip them up in seconds when the weather turns. Six buttons give it a properly old fashioned look. Fit was true to size with a thin sweater under it, slightly snug with a suit.

I have bought a lot of overcoats in forty years of working, and this one compares well with ones that cost a good deal more. The weave is tight, the buttons are sewn on firmly, and the length is generous without dragging. My only small gripe would be that the pockets could be a touch deeper, but I'm nitpicking. I wear it over a suit Monday to Friday and over a cardigan to the shops on Saturday. Good coat.

Arrived folded pretty tight so there were creases across the back. A steamer and a night on a heavy hanger fixed most of it. Once it settled, it hangs beautifully and moves nicely when I walk. Taking one star for the packaging, the coat itself is excellent.

Liked it so much I told my brother, and now he has one too. Long, warm, and it goes with everything I own, from jeans to my good suit. We wore them together at a family dinner and got teased endlessly, worth it. Easy decision for both of us.

Mostly wear it over a ribbed sweater and corduroys on weekends. It looks a bit bookish in the best way, like something a professor would wear between lectures. Plenty warm without being stiff, and the hip pockets are deep enough for my phone and keys.

Wanted a coat that actually covers my knees and doesn't stop short like most of what I tried on in stores. This does. Walking in it feels great, the back swings out behind you a little with each step. Sized true for me over a suit, with enough room left for a scarf tucked in.
