The contrast on the collar is not loud, you notice it up close and that is about it. I was worried from the listing it would be more obvious than it is. Works fine with everything I own and does not fight with a scarf either.

Wanted something I could wear out for an evening that would not look ridiculous in a foyer full of people in proper coats. This passed. Handed it in at the cloakroom and it came back without a crease across the middle where the hanger had been, which happens with lighter coats. Also warm enough for standing about outside afterwards waiting for a taxi in the cold.

Warm, well cut, arrived when it said it would. I do not have much more to add than that. It is a coat and it is a good one. Straightforward purchase.

My wife has been telling me for years that I dress like a man who has given up, so this was partly to shut her up. It worked. She has now told three of her friends about it and one of them has bought one for her husband. I like it too for what that is worth, and it is a great deal warmer than the thing it replaced.

Cut is more generous than the pictures suggest, particularly through the body. I could have gone a size down and it would still have taken a jumper. Not a complaint exactly, it just hangs a little looser on me than I pictured. Warm and well made regardless.

Wear it undone most of the time and it still hangs properly instead of flapping about. The lapels stay where they should. A lot of long coats only work buttoned up and this one does both, which is why it gets used more than the others.

You are not going to mistake it for something hand made but at what it costs I am not sure what more you could ask for. Everything is stitched properly and it has kept its shape through two months of daily wear. I would buy it again without thinking.

Tried it on over a two piece straight out of the box and there was no pulling anywhere. Sleeves clear a shirt cuff and the shoulders sit flat. That is the whole reason I bought it so I was relieved. Has become my default for anything formal.
