Mens Camel Brown Hooded Duffle Wool Coat

Ordered in the evening and it turned up two days later which surprised me. Packed neatly in a bag, no creases to speak of. Tried it on straight away and the fit was spot on through the chest. Comes to about mid thigh on me so it covers a lot more than my old jacket did. Wore it out that weekend and my girlfriend said it's the best coat I've owned.

Walk the dog twice a day whatever the weather and I've gone through a few coats doing it. This one handles frosty mornings brilliantly. The front pockets hold treats, poo bags and my phone without anything falling out when I bend down. Got splashed with mud last week and it brushed off once dry. Only wish I'd bought it at the start of last winter instead of suffering.

Really like it overall, but the hood is on the large side and tends to slip forward over my eyes in the wind unless I hold it. Probably fine for anyone with a bigger head than me. Everything else is lovely. The wool feels thick, the toggles are sturdy and the cuff straps are a nice detail you don't always get. Warm enough that I've only needed a t-shirt under it on milder days.

Good coat. Slightly warm for driving, I end up taking it off in the car because it's quite thick. Outside though it's excellent. The strap cuffs are a nice touch, you can pull them in when the wind is bad. Happy overall.

Not usually one for leaving reviews but this deserves one. I wait at the bus stop most mornings in the dark and the cold and this has made it bearable. Big hood, long enough to keep my legs warmer, and the pockets are deep enough to stuff my hands right in. Its also smart enough to wear into the office, so I don't need a separate coat for work. Very happy.

Bought this for my son who's just started uni and was going to freeze in a denim jacket. He actually wears it, which is the main thing. Sent me a photo with his flatmates and he looked very grown up in it.

I commute by train and spend far too long standing on cold platforms. This has made a real difference. The wool blocks the wind and it's long enough to cover my legs a bit. Not too heavy to sit in either once I get a seat, wich is rare.
