I asked before ordering whether it would darken over time because I'd read that waxed finishes do, and someone came back saying yes, particularly at the folds and where it gets handled. That's exactly what has happened over five months and I like it more for it. Honest answer rather than a sales one. It broke in within a fortnight and hasn't put a foot wrong since.

I'm a park ranger and I'm outside for six or seven hours of an eight hour shift, walking paths and talking to people. Nothing wrong with how it's made, the stitching is neat and every zip runs cleanly. My problem is it's cut short in the body and I'm long through the torso, so the hem finishes above where I want and I'm aware of it constantly. Sent it back and the refund came in about a week.

There was a loose thread inside near the lining when it arrived which I trimmed off and it hasn't gone any further. Aside from that the fit is right and it broke in within a fortnight. Just look yours over rather than assuming it's fine.
