Men’s Blue Velvet Double-Breasted Tuxedo Jacket — Peak Lapel

Ordered this for my fortieth, which we celebrated with a long dinner and drinks afterwards. Fit across the back is excellent and the peak lapels photograph really well, every picture from the night looks sharp. One of the covered buttons felt a bit loose out of the box so I had it stitched tighter before wearing. Small thing, but at this price I'd expect it right. Otherwise very happy and I'll be wearing it every December.

Was not convinced velvet was for me. Thought it might look like a costume. My brother talked me into it for his winter wedding and the first size I got was too big in the chest. Customer service sorted an exchange quickly with no fuss, and the second one fit properly. On the day it looked classy rather than loud, and the flap pockets meant I could carry the rings without ruining the line.

Short version. Fits true to size, feels heavy in a good way, buttons are all secure, and it looks great under low lighting at a gala. Wore it with a plain bow tie and tux trousers. No complaints. Would order from here again without thinking twice about it.

Needed something warmer than a regular tux jacket for a December wedding held in an old barn. Velvet was the right call. Paired it with my existing tux trousers and a bow tie and felt properly turned out. The structured shoulder makes a big difference, I look broader than I am.

Its fine. Nothing wrong with it exactly but the velvet picks up every bit of lint and I spent ten minutes with a roller before the gala. Sleeves were also a touch long for me. For the price it does the job, just wasnt the wow I expected.

Took about two weeks longer than I hoped and I was sweating it with New Year's Eve coming up. Arrived with just enough time. Some creases from the box that steamed out fine. Once on, it looks expensive. Knocking a star for the wait only.

I almost never write these but this one earned it. My wife had a formal gala through her work and I was dreading renting something again. Ordered this on a whim and honestly it was the best dressed I've felt in years. The double breasted cut hides alot, which at my age I definately appreciate. Wore it again to a holiday party a week later and got stopped twice by people asking about it.
