Women's Black Faux Suede Biker Jacket – Asymmetrical Zip

I stopped wearing animal products about six years ago and finding something that didn't look obviously synthetic has been a slog. This one doesn't. The nap is even, the hardware feels properly weighted and it doesn't have that shiny plastic look up close. Five months of wearing it now and there's no cracking or peeling anywhere. I've had two people ask me where it's from and both were surprised when I told them what it's made of.

Fair warning if you have a cat. The surface holds onto hair and I've had to keep a lint roller by the door. It comes off easily enough with a quick brush so it's more of a habit thing than a fault. Everything else I'm happy with, the fit is right and it's comfortable.

I bought this mostly because I hate the smell of real leather and this has none of that at all. It came out of the packet with no odour, which was the main thing I was checking for. It's comfortable, the fit is right for my usual size, and I've worn it definately more than anything else this month.

The pockets actually hold a phone without it falling out when I sit down, which sounds minor but is honestly the reason I've kept it in rotation over two others. The zips run smoothly with no snagging anywhere. Sizing matched what I ordered so nothing needed changing at all.

I bought a much more expensive one from somewhere else at the same time and sent that one back instead of this. The other was heavier, stiffer and sat badly across my back. This one just works. Four months on and there's no wear at the elbows or where my bag strap sits. I spot cleaned a mark on the sleeve with a damp cloth and it came out without leaving a ring.

Came earlier than expected and fit me right away with nothing to adjust. Soft, light and comfortable from the very first wear. I've worn it four or five times in two weeks now.

I work late shifts and walk to my car in a car park that isn't especially warm, and this has been better than expected for something so light. Zipped up it holds heat well enough for a ten minute walk. It's also easy to throw over a chair without worrying. Three months in the nap still looks even and the zips run cleanly.

It flattened slightly where my bag strap sits after a few weeks of daily use. A soft brush lifted it back up and it's been fine since, but you do have to do that. Otherwise no complaints, the fit is good and it's comfortable. Just be aware it needs a bit of upkeep.
