The lapel holds its shape without any of that rolling you get on cheaper ones. I have had it about a month now. Buttoned it stays closed properly across the front, open it falls how it should. Looks good with a silk shell underneath.

Opened it and the smell hit first. That was how I knew. My last one from a department store smelled like nothing at all and cracked at the elbows within a year. This feels completely different in the hand. Slightly waxy rather than shiny.

It is well made, I am not disputing that. I just pictured something with more shoulder to it and this is quite soft and relaxed instead. That is on me for not reading closely. Keeping it because the leather quality is genuinely good, but it is not the sharp look I had in my head.

Bought this last November and I am only writing now because I wanted to see it through a season first. It has been rained on twice, stuffed into an overhead bin, and hung on the back of chairs constantly. No cracking at the elbows, no loose buttons, lining still intact. The color has not gone grey either. That is what I care about.

Had a question about whether it runs small before ordering and someone answered on the chat within a few minutes. They said true to size and they were right. Ordered a M and it fits the way the photos look. Small thing but it is what made me actually buy.

Ordered one size up specifically so I could get a thin turtleneck underneath and that worked out. If you order true to size do not expect much room in there. The leather has already softened at the elbows after two weeks of steady wear.

Had it on from eight in the morning until nine at night and forgot it was there. No pinching under the arms at all. That is the whole review really, it just works.

I went too big at first and the exchange took about a week and a half start to finish. No arguing, no restocking fee, they just sent the new one out. The smaller size fits how I wanted, close through the waist with the buttons done up. Would have knocked a star off if the exchange had been painful but it was not.
