He has bought me clothes maybe three times in twenty years and two of those went straight back, so my expectations were low when the box turned up. This one he got right. Correct size, and something I would actually have picked myself, which I still do not fully understand. I have worn it constantly since and he brings it up at every opportunity. Worth it just for that.

Dark fabric and it does pick up fluff, particularly if you sit on a fabric sofa or carry a knitted bag. A roller sorts it in thirty seconds so it is not a real problem, just keep one in the car. Everything else about it has been good and I wear it constantly.

Has become the default. Nursery run, shopping, walking into town, all of it. I have three other jackets and none of them have moved off the hook since this arrived. Did not expect that from something I only bought becuase it was on my list.

Travelled with this twice now and it has become the thing I fly in. Comes off in one movement at security, folds small enough to shove in the overhead without taking up half the space, and it does not come out looking slept in. Warm enough for a cold gate at six in the morning and light enough that you are not roasting on the plane. That combination is harder to find than it sounds.

Does not add bulk the way a padded one does, which matters to me because I am small and puffy jackets make me look like a duvet. Still warm enough that I have not needed anything under it except a top on most days.

Barely notice it over my arm when it warms up in the afternoon. My old one was a workout to carry around. That alone has made me reach for this instead.

Could not decide so I bought two and sent one back, which I know is annoying for them but the chart put me right on the line. The smaller was too fitted once zipped, the larger is right. Return was free and quick so no real harm done.

Sleeves were the right length without any altering which never happens to me. I usually lose an inch off everything. Straight out of the bag and on. Very pleased with it.
