Evelyn Women's Navy Blue Hooded Wool Coat

I always default to black outerwear and it makes me look washed out in winter. This deep blue is so much kinder to my skin and still reads as serious for work. Matches my grey trousers, my jeans, even my camel scarf. Really happy I tried something different for once.

Smart enough for client meetings, relaxed enough for Saturday errands. The structure keeps it looking neat even after an hour on the train. I get asked where it's from at least once a week.

I already owned a black wool coat and almost talked myself out of this one. So glad I didn't. The navy is softer and much easier with my everyday clothes, especially denim and anything grey or cream. I'm tall, five foot ten, and it still lands right around the knee, which is rare. The sleeves are a good length too. I've had people stop me in the street to ask where it came from.

Picked this as an anniversary present after my wife pointed it out twice. I was nervous about the size but the chart was spot on. She says the shade is perfect with her blue jeans and white sneakers. Arrived well packed and in good time. Happy wife, happy me.

Pretty much perfect apart from the top button, which was a little loose when it arrived. Two minutes with a needle fixed it. The color is a true navy, not purple or grey, which was my worry ordering online. Lovely weight, structured without being stiff. Would buy again.

Definately my favourite coat now. I wear it on the school run, to work, out to dinner, everything. The pockets are perfect for gloves and the hood means I dont need a hat. People keep saying it looks expensive which is nice to hear.

Got this for my wife after she kept stealing my rain jacket. She loves the hood and the pockets. Took nearly two weeks to arrive though, so plan ahead if it's meant as a gift.

I'm petite, about five foot two, and I was worried the length would swamp me. It hits a little below the knee, which actually looks nice with ankle boots, but the sleeves were about an inch too long. I had them taken up by a tailor for not much and now it fits beautifully. The hood is roomy and the shoulders have just enough structure. Knocking one star for the alteration.
