Women's Real Leather Blue Waxed Bomber Jacket with Removable Hood

I'm a lollipop lady, so I'm on a crossing twice a day whatever the weather is doing, twenty minutes each time. It has to be warm standing still and it has to go over a coat's worth of high vis without being bulky underneath. This does both. It was firm for the first fortnight and then relaxed properly. Five months of that twice a day and there's no wear at the cuffs or the elbows.

Fit me first try and it arrived in three days. Firm for about a week and then fine. Worn it more days than not since it came and no issues.

I do a bat survey with a local group two evenings a month, which is standing in woodland from dusk until about eleven not moving. Colder than anything else I do. With the hood on and everything zipped this has been enough over a jumper all through the season. It's also quiet, which genuinely matters when you're listening for things. Five months on and it's held up completely.

I work reception at a campsite from March to October and the office is essentially a shed with a door that's permanently open. I keep this on for entire shifts. It's warm enough for that and light enough that I'm not overheating when the sun comes out in July. It took a fortnight to give properly and after that I stopped noticing it. Four months on and there's nothing showing anywhere on it.

The finish has rubbed slightly lighter where it meets the ribbing at the waist, which I gather is what it's meant to do with something waxed. It looks deliberate rather than worn out. Fits my usual size and it gave after about ten days of wearing it.

The knit cuffs have gone a little baggy after four months while the body is still exactly as it was. It's the nature of ribbing and it doesn't affect anything, but they don't grip my wrists the way they did. Everything else about it has been excellent and the fit is right.

I get the night bus home from work three times a week and its a fifteen minute wait at a stop with no shelter. Thats the whole reason I bought something with a hood. Its been the right call all winter and it softened after about ten days. Fits my usual size over a jumper.

The second zip inside means I can close the front completely with no gap at all, which is the difference between warm and not when it's windy. I do both when it's cold. Fits my normal size and it gave after about ten days.
