From the feel of it if you take care of it and keep it out of bad weather it will last a while. Fairly heavy so definitely wont be worn any time in the summer here. Seems pretty decent for anything above 40 degrees but anything less would need another layer

I have been in the market for a light weight leather style jacket for some time. I have a heavy leather jacket but it's just too heavy. So reading some reviews, I took a chance and I am glad I did. This jacket is nice. It does fit a tad tighter than I like but if I got the 2X, that would be way too big. I am 6'-1" and 218 lbs. The other issue but it's no big deal is that they need to make the zipped pockets a little larger for bigger hands.

You should probably go a size up if you're planning to wear it over layers any thicker than a t-shirt. The chest is snug but not uncomfortable as I want it to be. Hoping that last part gets better as I wear it more, though.
