Filters
Washed leather is tumbled soft before it ever becomes a jacket, so these arrive faded at the seams and already broken in. Black, blue, maroon and cognac, cut as truckers, cafe racers, biker styles, harringtons and bombers for men and women.
What "washed" means here
The hide is tumbled in water, dyed in layers that are rubbed back, then buffed and waxed before cutting — the full process is in our guide to what a washed leather jacket is. Most of this collection is lambskin, the softer of the two hides we use; if you want something heavier, compare lambskin against cowhide or shop cowhide leather jackets.
Which style to pick
- Trucker — shirt collar, cropped at the hip, the most denim-like shape here. More in mens and womens trucker jackets.
- Cafe racer — band collar, straight zip, sits flat under a coat. See the cafe racer collection.
- Biker style — asymmetric zip and more hardware, softened by the wash. Browse mens motorcycle jackets.
- Harrington — ribbed cuffs, roomier body. Also in mens and womens harringtons.
- Bomber and hooded — the most forgiving fits; two styles here take a removable hood. See mens bombers, womens hooded and mens hooded jackets.
Colours and fit
Washed black reads closer to charcoal in daylight; for a flat, even black shop mens or womens black leather jackets. Washed blue is the denim-look end of the range, with more in mens blue, and the waxed tones carry over into maroon leather jackets.
Soft lambskin will not stretch its way out of the wrong size, so measure your chest rather than ordering by shirt size — our size guide shows how. We also cut tall and petite fits. More across mens and womens leather jackets.
FAQs
Is washed leather real leather?
Yes — 100% real leather, mostly lambskin. The wash is a finish applied to genuine hide, not a coating or a print.
Washed, distressed or waxed — what's the difference?
Washed leather gets its character from being tumbled in water. Distressed is the broader term, covering washing, sanding or oiling. Waxed describes the final surface pass, which is where the cognac and maroon tones get their sheen.
Does it need breaking in?
No. That already happened in the drum, which is the main reason people choose a washed jacket over a standard one.
Will it keep fading?
It keeps developing — cuffs, elbows and collar edges lighten gradually, and new scuffs blend into the ones the wash put there.
Can I wash it at home?
Never in a machine. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth and condition it every six to twelve months; the care guide covers the rest.
UK delivery and returns?
Free UK delivery, typically 2–4 business days. If the fit is wrong you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange, unworn with tags intact — see the return policy.
