Mens Navy Blue Herringbone Wool Blend Blazer Jacket

Four or five customer visits a day, in and out of the car between each one, and the jacket spends half its life on the passenger seat. Most of mine have looked ruined inside a month doing that. This one has not. It goes back on at each stop without needing anything and it still looks like I made an effort at the fifth call of the day, which is the one where it matters most.

Three days on a stand talking to people from nine until six and you need something that still looks alright at the end of it. This did. No creasing across the middle from leaning on a counter and no sweat marks despite the hall being roasting. Definately taking it to the next one.

Nothing went wrong at any point, which is the whole of my review. Ordered, arrived, fitted, worn. I have no story to tell about it and that is the highest compliment.

Learned this the hard way years ago and it applies here as much as anywhere. A navy jacket over navy trousers that are not from the same cloth looks like you got dressed in the dark, because the two shades will never quite line up and the eye catches it immediately. Wear it over grey or stone or dark denim and it is excellent. Wear it over navy and somebody will ask if you have lost the matching trousers.

Needed a jacket for a formal portrait for work and this did the job, though it does come out darker in the picture than it looks in daylight so it reads almost black on screen. Fine for the purpose and nobody else would notice. Just be aware if you are choosing something specifically to photograph.

Went away for a couple of nights with hand luggage only and this was the one smart thing that came. Folded it in half over the top of everything else and it came out with two soft creases that were gone by the time I had hung it up and had a shower. Wore it to dinner both evenings and to a meeting on the second morning. Doing all three of those out of a small bag is the point.

This is the second one and they hang next to each other now. I alternate them week to week which means neither gets worn out and I always have one that has had a rest. Probably an unecessary amount of jacket for one man but there we are.

Three hours on a wooden pew for a family thing, which is about the hardest test there is for anything you are wearing. It did not dig in anywhere, it did not ride up, and standing and sitting repeatedly did not leave it looking slept in. My brother in law was tugging at his collar by the second hour and I was not. Small victory but I noticed it and I have thought about it every time since.
