Mens Real Leather 3/4 Length Blue Car Coat

Got this as a gift and was nervous buying leather for someone else, but the wide lapel and the 3/4 length made it look really put together on him. He's a big guy and the XXL fit his chest fine. He's basically lived in it since.

Never owned a real leather coat before so I wasnt sure what to expect. The color is what sold me, a proper blue you dont see much. Came well packed and the leather smelled real, not chemical. Had my tailor take it in slightly at the waist and now its perfect.

Classic shape, hits at the right length for layering over a suit jacket without bunching up. The blue is subtle enough for business but still a little different. Leather is soft but has some structure. A couple weeks in and its molding to me nicely.

Really like this for the cooler months, the 3/4 length keeps my legs out of the wind on the walk to the train. Only knock is the leather creases at the elbows after a full day, nothing major and it hangs out overnight. Still a solid coat for the money.

What stood out to me was the inside, the lining is smooth and the stitching is even all the way through with no loose threads. Feels well put together. The blue dresses up easy, Ive worn it to two dinners and a wedding rehearsal.

Needed something I could wear every day on my commute and not baby it. The leather is supple but feels durable, no scuffs after a month of daily use. Keeps the chill off in the mornings. Fit was accurate to the chart for an L.

Looks great and the length is right, but Im built through the chest and the M was tight buttoned up. Sized up to L and its much better with room for a layer. Id tell bigger guys to order up. The leather itself is lovely.

Wasnt sure between two sizes so I messaged before ordering, and they actually sent useful measurements instead of a copy paste reply. Went with their suggestion and it fit right. The coat itself is great, soft leather, deep blue, sits well on the shoulders.
