I keep the lock on a stretch of canal, which means being out at all hours opening gates and dealing with boats in weather nobody would choose. This has been the right thing for it because it's short enough not to get caught on a beam and it takes being soaked and dried repeatedly. It was rigid for the first fortnight and then gave completely. Six months on and there's no wear at the cuffs at all.

I work at a builders merchant on the yard side, so I'm outside loading and checking orders all day. This is what I arrive and leave in rather than what I work in. It's short enough not to catch on anything and the finish takes knocks without showing them. Fits my usual size and gave after a fortnight.

Fits well, came on time and it feels properly made. Worn it seven or eight times this month and it's already the one I grab. Nothing else to add really.
