Women's Burgundy Bomber Leather Jacket With Removable Hood

I'd been wanting a leather bomber for a while but the removable hood is what pushed me to order this one specifically. The burgundy is such a rich deep color and it looks even better in person than in the photos. The ribbed cuffs and hem band give it that classic bomber feel. The hood attaches cleanly and actually keeps you warm when you need it. Wear it without on warmer days and it just looks like a clean leather jacket. Really love this one.

Let me say the jacket itself is genuinely beautiful. The burgundy leather is deep and rich and the bomber silhouette is exactly what I wanted. Ribbed hem and cuffs are well made and the snap pockets on the chest look clean. My issue is the hood. When it's attached it adds quite a bit of bulk around the collar area and sits a little awkwardly against the leather. The drawstring hood is functional and warm, I just don't love how it integrates. Without the hood the jacket looks really clean and I wear it that way more often. The leather quality is genuinely good. Four stars mostly because of that hood integration.

Jacket arrived in the afternoon and I wore it out that evening. Burgundy is gorgeous in person. The bomber fit is just right, hits exactly at the waist. Ribbed cuffs are cozy. The hood was a nice surprise, didn't expect to use it but did.

Most bomber jackets I've tried have that thin flimsy ribbed band at the hem that stretches out within a few wears. This one is different. The ribbing is thick and holds its shape well. The bomber silhouette still looks as sharp as when I first got it. The ribbed cuffs haven't stretched out at all. Hood still functions perfectly. This is the kind of jacket you invest in and then just keep wearing forever.

Love the jacket but it runs small. I'm usually a medium and had to size up to a large. Once I got the right size it fits really well. Burgundy color is beautiful in person. Hood is a great feature. Just make sure to size up.
